The morning run is about to get easier for families in Narre Warren South with an Early Learning Centre opening at Heritage College in 2021.

The development of the Early Learning Centre extends the campus offering from 3 and 4-Year-Old learning up to Year 6. Positioned in the heart of Narre Warren South on Centre Road, the service will deliver early childhood programs including Long Day Care, Kindergarten, Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care.

The new Early Learning Centre will include two early learning classrooms and deliver dedicated reception, kitchen and laundry facilities, landscaping works and community garden. The first sod was turned on-site in April by college and early learning leadership, with building works due to commence mid-May. The centre will officially open in 2021.

Member for Narre Warren South, Mr Gary Maas said, ‘It’s fantastic that construction is starting soon on the new Early Learning Centre at Heritage College. The State Government is proud to contribute $500,000 towards this project which will be of great benefit to our youngest students. I look forward to attending the official opening in 2021.’

Heritage College Principal, Mr Sonny Aiono said, ‘We are thrilled to extend the Narre Warren South Campus to provide early childhood programs and look forward to welcoming our new early childhood team. The early childhood programs help children to develop language, social and emotional skills, while Bush Kinder allows them to develop confidence and curiosity. Our 4-year-old program provides an important start for local families while preparing their child for their first year of school.’

An overview of the Early Learning Centre programs can be found on the website at heritagecollege.vic.edu.au. Applications for enrolment at the centre are now open. For further enquiries, contact Heritage College on 9796 0100 or email [email protected].
