On Saturday evening March 13th more than 40 young people gathered at Springvale Spanish Church for a combined social between youth from Springvale Spanish, Casey and Frankston Churches.
Initially the group planned to close Sabbath at the beach and enjoy a picnic dinner, but the weather forecast meant that plans had to be changed. The group spent time getting to know each other with some fun icebreaker games, before Pr Jonathas closed Sabbath with an invitation to recognise the Creator’s signature on each of our lives.
After this, we broke up into smaller groups and moved into an enjoyable time of board and cards games, table tennis and of course the delivery of pizza, which brought everyone back together. It was an awesome night and the youth leaders are already planning their next combined event for late April.
A huge thanks to the youth leaders at these three churches and also to Pr Jonathas and Springvale Spanish for hosting a great night.
