South East Churches Celebrate Encounters with Jesus through Evangelism Program

Pr Tui Fanene

What a powerful and Spirit-filled week was for the Carrum Downs Samoan Church and the Casey Cross Company! The 'Encounters with Jesus' Bible series concluded on April 18 on a high note, with 14 precious souls choosing to follow Jesus through baptism.

Night after night, Pastor Nemaia Faletogo from the Washington State Conference brought the stories of Jesus to life straight from the Gospels—real, unfiltered, and deeply moving. From the very first evening, hearts were stirred, and decisions were made, as people responded to the call to follow Christ.

It was more than just a series—it was a revival. New believers found hope and belonging, while church members experienced a fresh outpouring of spiritual renewal and revival.

One grateful visitor shared, “Everything—the worship, the special items, the hospitality, and even the unseen acts of service—was such a blessing. Thank you to everyone who prayed, planned, and made this possible.”

Margaret, one of the newly baptised, captured the heart of the week when she said, “I finally feel accepted in a local church. I want to be part of this church.”

Throughout the week, we witnessed something truly beautiful—the coming together of God’s power and His people’s faithful service.

We praise God that through the Word, fellowship, and genuine love, hearts were touched and drawn closer to Jesus in an everlasting way.
