AdventCare is a ‘not for profit’ organisation offering aged care that embraces Christian values and provide a home for people requiring all levels of care. The organisation is highly regarded in the community. We currently have vacancies for casual and part time Laundry and Cleaning Staff Care at our Whitehorse Facility in Nunawading.
Cleaning Assistants are required to assist with the cleaning of residents’ bedrooms’, common areas, foyer entrances, dining areas and en-suites. It is important that the areas are well kept and that a high standard of hygiene is maintained always. Most importantly this is no ordinary cleaning role you will be able to relate to older people. Laundry Assistants do a wonderful job of ensuring residents clothing is properly laundered and delivered back to them. Some staff work across both roles!
The successful applicant/s will have:
- Positions subject to a successful NDIS check
- Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination
- Be courteous and respectful of the elderly
- Have good customer service skills
- Be punctual
- Have a good attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a team
- Have the ability to work under limited direction
- The ability to work under limited direction is a must
