NO to Big Camp 2020 as infection could easily spread. If only one person were detected as being infected and attending Camp, potentially everyone who attended Camp (whether camper or day attendee) may need to go into 2-week self-quarantine. This would then affect our office, ABC, schools and churches, most of which would have to close for that period while staff and attendees were in quarantine.

We want to support the church and wider community at this time. By cancelling Camp we’d be pragmatic. But it also provides us with opportunities to be present in our local communities at Easter time, responding to people’s fears and/or contagion in practical and spiritual ways.
