Pr. Graeme Christian, president of the Victorian Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, opened the 96th Constituency Meeting on Sunday morning for the first time on Zoom to over 300 participants.
The meeting started with Pr. Terry Johnson, the newly appointed Australian Union Conference President sharing a devotional, and prayer.
Constituents discussed and voted on important conference business as well as the administration for the next four years.
Congratulations to Pr. Christian Graeme (President), Pr. Craig Gillis (Conference Secretary) and Mr. Graeme Moffit (Chief Financial Officer) who were voted to continue to serve by a large majority.
Each departmental leader responded to questions about their reports. Many highlighted that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, God had blessed them and their work.
A special action was taken to express thanks to Brian Mercer for his continued hard work in Adventist Schools Victoria.

During the next few years, the Victorian Conference mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ of all peoples, communicating the everlasting gospel in the context of the three Angels messages of Revelation 14:6-12.
To close, Pr. Graeme Christian emphasized, “We need to focus on mission as never before. God has prospered the church in Victoria, despite these challenging times. The future is in our focus on mission, its time to pray that God will work through His people as never before.”
