Our small Adventurer and Pathfinders Club took up a $5 challenge and ten children raised $1183 for a special project in the Solomon Islands.
Lawrence Staub, from South Pacific Allied Health (SPAH) company was presented with the money on Saturday afternoon, September 22, 2018.
Each child was given $5 by the club leaders, and challenged to invest the money. They rose to the occasion with a wide range of activities. Well done young people and thanks from SPAH on behalf of the Solomon Islanders. The monies will be used to pay for the medication for 200 people suffering whole body tinea, many are children who refuse to go to school because of the bullying on the condition.
Well done kids, you make us proud! What absolute champions.
