The Lord has a work for women as well as for men… Women can do in families a work that men cannot do, a work that reaches the inner life. They can come close to the hearts of those whom men cannot reach. Their labour is needed.

About Women’s Ministries

Women all over the world, have many different needs. The Women’s Ministries Department of the Victorian Conference, are keen to address those needs, whether they be physical, mental, emotional, spiritual or social. We aim to provide a support system that addresses issues as they affect women in and out of the church. We want to encourage women to meet their greatest potential in Christ. This can be achieved in many ways. We promote programs, retreats and seminars to train, equip and strengthen women to be more effective in their ministry in the church, home and community.

A Ministry For Every Woman

Women’s Ministries is ministry from women to women. It has the goal to help every woman in the church discover and develop her own ministry. Have you discovered your own ministry yet? Or maybe you are waiting to discover it. It is certain that God has a ministry for you – that is certain! Just ask Him what it is and how can you be involved. Ministry is what happens when God’s love for people is channelled through woman’s unique gifts and talents to meet the needs of people. That means there are three elements needed for ministry: • God’s guidance and inspiration • Your gifts and abilities • The needs of others

Jesus spent His time on earth healing, helping, showing compassion, and sharing the message of God’s love and His coming kingdom  He made it clear that God wants His people to continue the same work. God desires  to see the hungry fed, the homeless sheltered, the hurting helped, and everyone transformed by the Good News of His love and His soon return to earth. Begin the adventure of discovering your God given ministry today!
