Clyde Connect has been worshipping together since 2020, with the support of Filipino-Australian SDA Church – Dandenong. What started out as a group of 10 people has now grown to over 30. Since it’s formation, Clyde Connect has had 7 baptisms and 2 professions of faith. COVID has provided Clyde Connect with the opportunity to embrace online worship, and they have now set up online Bible studies and evangelistic programs for the community.
Last year members were trained and supported by our Family Ministries team on building ‘loving’ relationships. At the moment, members are being trained to defend their faith with our “Let’s Reason Together” apologetic’s series. And on July 16 this year, a spiritual gifts seminar will be run to equip the Church to minister better and disciple others. Members of the leadership team will also attend the Howqua Church Plant Training Camp (August 19-21) this year. Future training will also involve engaging a bible worker, literature ministry and how to make friends and give bible studies
