Michael first came to Colac Church in 2019, after Pr. Tau Poasa stumbled across his house while visiting the local neighborhood. Over the years, Colac has been active in planting seeds in the local community. “I was talking to a man who was mowing his lawn but for some reason, I continued a few houses down and ended up talking to Michael at his front door.” Tau felt an instant connection with Michael, “He’s an awesome dude, we talked, and had a good laugh.” After visiting Michael for the third time, Michael asked Tau if he could be invited to Colac Church. “Michaels first visit to Colac was a surprise but he connected with the members, and we knew from that moment on he was a keeper.” On the 11th of November 2021, Colac Church celebrated Michael’s baptism – the first baptism in 1o years. “We are very excited that Michael is officially a member of Colac Church, we praise God for leading him here.” The past two years have been difficult, there has been many challenges and uncertainties along the way. Michael had planned to get baptized earlier in the year however, due to the restrictions, it was delayed several times. “We praise God that despite all the challenges we faced, Michael’s decision never wavered.” Colac church is excited to welcome another member, “it has been a team effort at Colac in witnessing and sharing with Michael and others the love of Jesus. Credit to our church family for their ongoing support and love shown for Gods work.”
