Last week was a historical moment for Seddon Church.
Like all of us, they have been challenged with how to do church in isolation. For a time they combined services with another church, St Albans. They also ran zoom meetings through out the week, with a kids program on Sabbath afternoon, followed by a youth Bible study, prayer meeting on Wednesday evenings and a youth group Friday evenings.
But this last Sabbath they were able to start their own livestreaming event, having purchased the equipment necessary. It was a short program, with lesson study and mission story, sermon and praise.
But they rejoice that over 150 people, including those who assisted while maintaining social isolation, were involved in worshipping together in this way.
