On the 27th of July, 2019, Eva Wilson gave her life to Jesus. After two years of bible studies with family friend, Pr. Brendon Pratt, Eva choose to follow in her Saviours’ footsteps.
Surrounded by family, church family and close friends, Pr Brendon Pratt had the privilege of Baptising Eva at Nunawading Seventh-day Adventist church during the morning worship service. During the service, Pr. Pratt shared some testimony of Eva’s life and love for little Athletics, sports, music and the Nunawading Pathfinder club.
Thirteen- year old Eva shared that her involvement in the Pathfinder club over the past three years, has been an integral part of her decision to be baptized. Fittingly, Eva choose Susan Jackson, her Pathfinder leader to be her spiritual guardian. Susan spoke during the service of how she has watched Eva blossom and grow in her relationship with Jesus throughout her Pathfinder journey and the joy Eva’s decision has brought the club as a whole.
The service included beautiful music played by Eva’s sister Freya on piano along with close friends joining to sing special worship songs. Following the baptism, the Nunawading church came together in celebration of this special occasion, sharing lunch together.
