Big Camp 2021
April 1, 2021 - April 5, 2021
2020 was something wasn’t it! And the aftermath is not over by a long shot.
Isn’t it great that we have the hope of the Gospel and do not need to succumb to fear? Doesn’t it just make you want to…
With Big Camp being an online event this year, there is opportunity to host it in your local church as a weekend event; or at least open up the church for Friday and Saturday evenings, have a picnic-style meal in a socially distancing fashion and open or close Sabbath as a church family then watch the evening programs together; to watch it in your own home; or to even have a church camp some time through out 2021, using these resources as part of your program.

ENCOUNTER PROGRAM
Virtual Encounter will run in place of the usual Mosaic and Encounter programs for Adults. We have the morning family worships, entertaining and inspiring guest speakers and afternoon workshop seminars (get link).
As our keynote speaker, Lloyd Grolimund will be presenting live from Lilydale Church. He will be sharing with us a different take on preparing for Christ’s Second Coming and the crisis ahead of us. John Skrzypaszek’s topic is the Story of our Heritage – remembering our heritage, our story, is significant as it revives in our minds God’s Story…
The ABC will have its usual book promotions with huge savings – look out for these book features in the morning sessions. And please do not forget the Mission Offering which is usually collected on Sabbath afternoon at Big Camp and this year will be collected through eGiving. Each year Camp programs around Australia contribute to the Mission Offering and this year money raised will support Fulton University College. Please be there for this institution, both with your prayers and financially.
We wont be having the Village Square this year, however the afternoon seminars are still happening and will have a range of presentations including how to give Bible studies and using your social media to Tell Somebody!

OLDER TEENS…
may prefer to tune in to Little Big Camp (see below). Although the messges are aimed at young adults, they may still be suitable for older teens.
(LITTLE) BIG CAMP
In the absence of our regular Big Camp, “(Little) Big Camp” is an opportunity for our youth (18-35 years) to reconnect with friends they’ve only seen on zoom this past year, develop new friendships and spend time reflecting on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus over the Easter break – while also connecting with like-minded people.
There will also be plenty of time to spend in nature, go hiking, mountain bike-riding or exploring the area, take a nap, or recharge by a fire or board games in the evening.
