After exploring the story and themes of Joseph’s life, as recorded in the Bible, our Year 8 Students created special children’s books!
They told the story in an approachable way for their audience and filled their books with colour and illustrations, ensuring they brought out key take-away messages from the story.
They then visited our Year 2 classes in the Primary School, to read these books to a very eager and attentive audience!
The Year 8s encouraged the Year 2s to see how God brought good out of the awful situations in Joseph’s life. They included Joseph’s words from Genesis 50:20 – “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
