On the 23rd January we had more than a new year and being back together in the church building to celebrate in Bairnsdale.
We were also happy to witness Pastor Andrew Wilson baptise Jillian Glenwright, a young woman who has been attending church the past year or two. As her church family we pledged to support her as she raises her little son Harry who was dedicated to God that morning. During the service, Jillian and Dr Antoinette Mowbray (pictured above with Jillian, Harry and Pr Wilson) sang a duet together.
After the service many of the congregation went to a nearby riverside and had a picnic lunch together – almost like old times!
