On February 27, Pr. Manuel Tikulin baptized Maria Peters into the Croatian St. Albans Church. Maria previously attended a Greek Orthodox Church, however she wasn’t happy. She didn’t know that she could study the Bible on her own, and was afraid of God. During the pandemic, Maria struggled with much guilt and bitterness, so she joined mental health workshops organized by West Community Care. It was at these workshops that she was able to share her struggles. After that, her Adventist friend invited her to join her in the woman’s Bible study group, Maria was able to learn more about who Jesus really is and how much He loves her. Maria is now at peace, knowing that she has new life in Jesus.
