On May 14, Joelle was baptised at Maryborough Seventh-day Adventist Church by Ministerial Intern Eric Johnson. Joelle’s initial contact with the church was through their Facebook page. After a connection was built through visitations with the family, she decided to take part in Bible studies. Joelle’s baptism was not only a celebration of her commitment to God, but also an opportunity for her friends and family, who do not go to church to see how God has worked in her life.
