Hi VAAS members,

Twenty Six of our members had an enjoyable trip as they travelled to Mildura on the long weekend. Wes and his wife had a nice tea ready for them on the Coonawarra Paddelboat on their arrival. They had worship at the SDA church on Friday night. A scrumptious breakfast was ready for everyone Sabbath morning before they headed off to the church for a full day of fellowship and worship. In the afternoon it was an old fashioned AY meeting. Thank you Andrew and Bubbles for inviting everyone to your lovely home on the banks of the Murray River on Saturday night. They supplied a full banquet of delicious food then Andrew lit the campfire for a sing along. An excellent night was had by all.

Sunday Andrew invited them all to go on his huge duck that went on land and water. They then went onto the original Melbourne Paddlesteamer and travelled up the river for 2 hours with morning tea provided. In the afternoon some went to the Gem Shop and the restaurants before going back onto the Coonawarra for a rest and relaxation as they watched a DVD.

Thank you to everyone that came, including folk from interstate, this helped to make it such a great weekend. Please check the conference website for many more photos.

With the government announcement that Victorians are to stay at home and not to be in groups, there will not be any singles programs until further notice. Please read Psalm 91 and stay close to the Lord. If you have phone numbers or email addresses of other singles, stay in touch as it is going to be a very lonely time for some.

Christian regards
