Our building works at AdventCare Whitehorse are moving along well and the next Stage is planned to be completed in December 2022. We will then increase our resident rooms from 134 to 182 with two new wings of superb accommodation and amenities. We anticipate opening these new beds in late January 2023.
These works will also see a major refresh of our core building infrastructure so that we can provide services to the Church community for another 50 years. We will have the following:
• A new kitchen and laundry
• A new dedicated resident private dining room for family functions
• A dedicated staff training room with the latest audio-visual equipment

Warburton Units
Our eight new two bedroom retirement units at Warburton are now completed and residents are moving into their new home. There has been strong demand for these units and only one is now available. These are the first retirement units to be built in Warburton for many years and show the commitment of AdventCare and the Church to provide support and services for the local community. With the current challenges of COVID and staff shortages in the aged care industry, AdventCare is working hard to maintain good staffing levels and to recruit more staff.
