Plenty Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church recently held their 9th International Food Night, the church welcomed 85 people with 14 visitors and raised over $2,000 towards local ADRA crisis relief in the city of Whittlesea, and humanitarian project in the Solomon Islands. For the past 8 years, the Turkish Women’s Recreational Group have cooked and donated Turkish vegetarian food to the International Food Night. Plenty Valley Church frequently collaborates with this group, working together on community art projects. Not only was this a fundraising event, but also a time for church members to demonstrate God’s love through hospitality, to show that vegetarian food can be tasty and nutritious, to showcase the church and it’s love for the community.
