From Warragul Church, Tara shares this testimony of how many ministries within their church have helped s new friend learn more about Christ.
One of the deacons happened to be out at the church gate one Sabbath morning. He greeted a passer-by called Amanda. She made enquiries, asking about our church, so he invited her to come and worship with us. The following Sabbath Amanda did just that.
Amanda still attends her Anglican church, but for over a year now she has intermittently (and more frequently) attended our church too, enjoying the sermons, joining our adult Sabbath class and making new friends with us and we all love her.
Earlier this year Amanda approached me asking questions about studying the Bible, clearly wanting to know more about it. I prayerfully considered her request, and with the  guidance of the Holy Spirit, decided to take the Bible study, using the study packs made available to church members by the Personal Ministries department at the Conference Office.
Amanda is really enjoying the study and the packs are so informative and easy for her to follow. I pray that God will continue to touch Amanda’s heart as we both learn more about Him.
Please join our church family as we keep Amanda before the throne of God through prayer. Tara Timiiti
