The Victorian Conference has announced a new Fund for Needy Persons which aims to assist those who suffer from disadvantage, to provide financial and other support. Financial support may also be provided to church groups within the Seventh-day Adventist church who are directly supporting their local community individuals or families who are in need.

Purpose: To assist those who suffer from disadvantage and need of any form and to provide financial & other
support, in the form of food parcels, goods, or financial support to provide relief to persons in
necessitous circumstances and poverty, who do not have enough financial resources to have a modest
standard of living in Australia. Recipients of the funding must be able to confirm their necessitous
circumstances. Financial support may be provided to church groups within the Seventh-day Adventist
church who are directly supporting their local community individuals or families who are in necessitous
circumstances.

The Fund provides: Financial support for individuals and families in our church communities throughout Victoria that
have demonstrated necessitous circumstances and / or SDA churches providing direct relief of
poverty to these people. The Fund will invite and receive deductible contributions from the public to provide the funds for
persons in necessitous circumstances.
