We have been promoting WayMaker for a while now… but do you know what it is?
WayMaker is an initiative from the Australian Union Conference. It is a multiplatform project aimed specifically for Teens and Young Adults who are seeking God.
So far they have established an Instagram account (#waymakertv) and a facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/waymakertv) in the social media scene, and an on-demand viewing platform (www.waymaker.tv).
Coming soon, is the WayMaker website, which will deliver the assets that the other platforms don’t do well or are not suitable for, such as downloadable Bible study resources specifically for the target demographic. They are particularly wanting to provide material for young people new to seeing the Bible, and Christianity in general, as having an impact on their day to day lives, and will be digging into social topics such as Cancel Culture, Social Media, Euthanasia, Gender Equality and Social Justice, as well as basic fundamentals such as God’s Will, Prayer and Simple Apologetics.
We will keep you informed about the launch of the website, but in the meantime, check out the existing platforms and share them with your young people.
