For the second year in a row, church members held an art and craft show one Sabbath in July. Would your church like to try it?
• Take some inspiration. (Ours was an article by Glenn Townend article on art in church, and a local art show held at a Baptist church).
• Add plenty of encouragement to everyone; you’ll be surprised at what is created!
• Organise a themed worship service (such as ‘In His Hands’), with a creative speaker.
• Collect plenty of picture hooks and display tables.
• Add weekly encouragement.
• And create a community event.
• If your church/ hall is hired out, leave the exhibits for a few weeks as a silent witness.
