The men of Casey Church have for some time now, been involved in ministry for men.
Recognising the widespread need for such a ministry, the men opened it up beyond the doors of their church and invited others to join them.
Mid August saw the second Victoria-wide Men’s Weekend Away. Together they explored the depths of Jesus’ forgiveness, redemption and transformation that only His grace can bring in our hearts, in the beautiful surrounds of Victoria’s High Country.
As in the time of Jesus, when He went from place to place teaching, preaching and healing people, He came to continue His work in the hearts of these men bound for eternity.
The weekend finished on a high note with the foot washing ceremony, a celebration of brotherhood and solidarity. With the hearts filled by Jesus’ love, men have committed themselves to follow in the footsteps of their Lord and Master.
This invitation is extended to all men from our churches in the Victorian Conference, that by God’s grace we will be a living reflection of Jesus wherever God has called us to live.
