Hi, my name is Ayan, my two sisters and I are waiting to be baptised as soon as Corona restrictions allow us.

My mother was baptised last year at Point Cook/Werribee church SDA church, and all of us six siblings are following her example in faith.

Our family have been with God our whole life and have always been following and influenced by God and His teachings as we understood them.

Last year Pastor Danijela start visiting us and invited us to the church, so we attended a Seventh-day Adventist church for the first time.  It was nice to have a sense of community within the church, almost like a second family.

Every Saturday we attended Werribee in the morning, and Point Cook in the afternoon and church became part of us, something we looked forward every week.  Sabbath became a day of rest as we spent time off from our normal activities for that day: it represented the end of the week for me and the next day we started the week again.

Not only did we reconnect with God but the Sabbath day was an important day for my family, spending the whole day together.

Unable to physically attend church due to restrictions this year, we have joined Zoom church every week.  Definitely a different experience but still very good and blessing.

At the start of the year my sisters and I commenced Bible study lessons with Pastor Danijela. This has been a great experience for us. We have come closer to God and have learnt more and more about His Word and His teaching.  When the pandemic restrictions started we moved to Facetime Bible studies.  Pastor Danijela taught us things about God we had never heard before.  We are very grateful to pastor Danijela for taking her time to teach us.

When we studied about Baptism, all three of us decided to be baptised.

Overall, our journey with God has been a great journey.  We learnt many things and we have realised the great importance of staying close to God. I t has been a challenge for us not being able to physically be at the church and see everyone, but we have strived through and we cannot wait to get back to the church and be baptised.
